RadioBOSS – Software for Clubs, Radio Stations
Do you have a club and would like your customers to be soothed by music? Do you want to start a broadcasting radio station and would like to automate music playback? If you answered “Yes” to these questions, then you need to take a look at a djSoftware-developed application called RadioBOSS.
There are several bits and pieces you are going to like about this piece of software – and there are some that you will not like. Starting on a positive note, here are the things you are going to like.
The download weighs in at some 10MB, so on a high-speed connection the download will complete in no time at all. Not having to wait for a long time for a software application to finish downloading is always nice – and it is something you are going to like if you’re interested in RadioBOSS.
The second thing you are going to like about RadioBOSS is that it can be installed on pretty much any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system. The application works just fine with the old but popular Windows XP, works fine with the much avoided Windows Vista, and works fine with the latest and greatest, with Windows 7.
The third thing you are going to like is the application’s functionality. This application offers automation capabilities for broadcasting stations, clubs, discos, casinos, shops, cinemas and any other location that would like to have music playing in the background. Thanks to RadioBOSS, the music will play for days, weeks, and even months, without any user intervention.
RadioBOSS includes a very stable music player. It is this player application that controls how and when playlists are played. RadioBOSS also includes a format converter so you can convert music files you already have. To locate, track and manage your music files, RadioBOSS comes with a music database that is quite easy to use. Last but not least, RadioBOSS comes with a properly good playlist generator.
Here’s the part you are not going to like. You cannot use RadioBOSS free of charge because the application is not freeware. Furthermore, the trial version is limited (session does not last more than 45 minutes, Save and Load functions are disabled). On the upside, a RadioBOSS license is quite affordable.
