If you’re thinking about starting your own radio station, but you don’t want to part with a lot of money for a traditional radio programming application, then RadioBOSS is ideally suited for you. This djSoft-developed radio automation software will meet all your broadcasting needs without asking for a lot of money in return.

The RadioBOSS installation file is 14.1MB in size, meaning that on a high-speed internet connection the download will complete in a blink. You can install and run the application on your PC if it meets these minimum system requirements: 800MHz or better processor, 512MB of RAM, 50MB of free disk space, monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution, Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista/7.

The application’s interface is divided into several panes. In the upper left hand side you have one that lets you browse your drives, find files, play with the scheduler function, add effects, and more. The pane in the upper right hand side displays the tracks selected for broadcasting. In the lower part of the application’s interface, you have a pane that displays your latest actions to the left and a pane that displays playback controls to the right.

This application offers automation capabilities for broadcasting stations, clubs, discos, casinos, shops, cinemas and any other location that would like to have music playing in the background. Thanks to RadioBOSS, the music will play for days, weeks, and even months, without any user intervention.

RadioBOSS includes a very stable music player. It is this player application that controls how and when playlists are played. RadioBOSS also includes a format converter so you can convert music files you already have. To locate, track and manage your music files, RadioBOSS comes with a music database that is quite easy to use. Last but not least, RadioBOSS comes with a properly good playlist generator.

Please note that RadioBOSS is only free to try. The trial is limited to 50 uses; the session will finish automatically after 5 hours (restart the application to resume).
